Not Cinderella But Close Enough

Princesses like cupcakes too :)
My Modern Touch
Today's post was inspired by a princess party I hosted at our church fundraiser.  Yes, I'm 20 years old and held a princess party which included my lovely princess guests who were 7.  Most people would roll there eyes at this but OMG was it fun! Hanging out with girls less then half my age brought me back down to earth... and back to the fact that every girl wants to be a princess! Cinderella was my favorite Disney princess growing up, obviously like any other normal person I dreamed of being Cinderella at Magic Kingdom.  Well Disney crushed my dreams by putting a height limit on princesses, thanks a lot Walt. Although I can't be an official Disney Princess, I can still dress like one, and so can you! Don't worry you don't have to step out wearing a crown and ballgown.  Here is a modern way to wear your invisible crown.  Start with something that's obviously princessy, ex. sparkly, fluffy, pink, whatever floats your boat.  I choose a pink tulle skirt.  Next add something to bring it into this century, ex. a leather jacket, combat boots, leggings.  And BAM your set! Of course not everyone want to a be a princess, but that's the beauty of fashion, it allows you to be exactly who you want to be, and on Sunday I wanted to be a punk rock princess, so I was.
My beautiful princess guests and our waiter Max!
